The first budget for TIRZ 25 was approved by City Council on March 25, 2015, along with the interlocal agreement with Fort Bend County enabling tax increment collection from both Harris and Fort Bend counties.
The FY2015 operating budget was the zone’s first formally approved budget, meaning the first tax increment would have been received in fiscal year 2015 (collected in early 2015 following the January 31 property tax deadline).
