METRO recently celebrated the ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new 314 Hiram Clarke curb2curb service in southwest Houston. 

The on-demand rideshare service, launching on August 21, 2022, offers residents a personalized and affordable transportation option within a designated zone.

It also provides connections to the broader METRO transit network.

During the event, METRO Board members and community leaders praised the Authority’s commitment to equitable and accessible transportation. 

U.S. Rep. Al Green presented METRO with a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition.

The 314 Hiram Clarke curb2curb service will operate seven days a week, with fares of $1.25 each way. 

Discounts are available for students and seniors, and all vehicles are fully accessible.

This new service aims to provide convenient, high-quality transit that offers safe, affordable, and sustainable transportation options for residents, enabling them to reach essential destinations such as school, employment, and healthcare.
