The Hiram Clarke Fort Bend Redevelopment Authority, also known as TIRZ 25, reinvests public dollars into the neighborhoods of Hiram Clarke and Fort Bend Houston through tax increment financing. From street improvements to park enhancements and infrastructure upgrades, the goal is to create a community that reflects its history while supporting the needs of today. While the work is mostly technical, the mission is focused on improving quality of life for residents and businesses and the most lasting progress happens when the community is part of the conversation.

There are several ways community members can get involved with TIRZ 25, starting with two community surveys that are open right now. Each one takes just a few minutes to complete. One survey gathers feedback on the priorities for current and upcoming projects. The other captures community sentiment about how TIRZ 25 is serving the area. This is your chance to share your perspective. Your input will directly shape future projects and funding decisions.

Beyond the surveys, The Hiram Clarke Fort Bend Redevelopment Authority invites residents to attend its monthly public board meetings, held on the first Thursday of each month at 12 p.m. These meetings are where key decisions are made and where community voices can be formally shared. All are welcome to attend. You can view the full meeting schedule online, along with agendas, past meeting minutes, and other important documents.

Community events also offer meaningful opportunities to get involved. Whether it’s a Developers Networking Reception, a community engagement event, or a groundbreaking for the latest capital improvement project, these gatherings are moments where you can see the work of TIRZ 25 in action.

Change is inevitable. But meaningful, community-driven change doesn’t happen by accident. The Hiram Clarke Fort Bend Redevelopment Authority invites you to take part in shaping the future of the community where you live, work, and worship. To stay connected, sign up for the TIRZ 25 newsletter or follow on social media. The future of the Hiram Clarke and Fort Bend Houston communities are  being shaped right now, and every voice matters.
